Momentum Dance Perth has been performing publicly since 2017, mounting four major shows as well as numbers of other works.

See Me Festival

Momentum Dancers were invited to perform a piece in the See Me Festival held in the courtyard of the State Theatre Centre

2019 Unmanned

Two new works were presented that highlighted disconnection, touch and reconnection, playful remembering, and individual interpretation through task- based choreography

2022 Undeterred

Faced with an international pandemic, lockdowns, a world in crisis from climate change, wars, rising inflation, and choreographers in far-off New Zealand and Sydney, this group of older contemporary dancers has embraced 21st century technology and remained Undeterred from their aim to bring new dance for older bodies to audiences.

Annie Awards

The Annie is a new choreographic dance film commission in the spirit of Annie Greig, to continue her legacy. Annie Greig was a brilliant communicator, connector and supporter of artists. The Annie continues her ethos of providing opportunities for newly developing choreographers. It was her wish to establish a choreographic commission for a short 5-7 minute dance film for a choreographer to work with dancers aged over 50

2024 Unveiled

As Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia 2024 IN.RESIDENCE recipient, Momentum Dance Perth performed this triple bill at the State Theatre Centre, Studio Underground.

​16 dancers featured within the three works, which were presented across a season of six performances.
