Whispers was developed and rehearsed entirely by Zoom, with Plotkin Mikhailov based in New Zealand.
‘Whispers is a new short work, that was created from a place of curiosity and absolute madness. The beginnings of this work grew out of my reflections on communication, and it has also been a big part of my personal journey. Trying to find that connection with people. To make that bridge for my ideas, visions, values and my movement here in New Zealand.
COVID has changed the rules as we once knew them and opened a window to a whole new way of communication. Engaging in a 6 weeks long-distance choreographic process has created a door for a new, different and exciting connection.’
